This past Sunday, Nate invited Evan over to edit some footage for Hooray For Funn’s upcoming episode 2. Evan pretended he had something else to do until Nate reminded him that their 2005 New Year’s resolution was to make a million dollars and as of Sunday, they had like, 12 dollars. So Evan begrudgingly accepted the invitation and wandered over to Nate’s apartment.
Two hours later, Evan arrived with a chicken salad sandwich (on French with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and bacon). He told Nate he’d be ready to edit as soon as he got some food in his system. Evan then proceeded to eat lunch and fall asleep on Nate’s couch for the next two hours.
Nate’s roommate and Baker guitarist, Andy “17 days since my last barf-fest” Casey was amazed at Monsky’s ability to come over and just go to sleep. “He just came over and slept,” said Casey. “I mean, at least he’s committed though… to the couch.” Casey then belly laughed and poked the sleeping Monsky with a stick. When asked to defend himself and his lack of achievement in the past year, Monsky simply replied, “Please don’t yell at me. I support you. I love everyone in this life.” He then rolled over and asked if anyone had seen his cell phone. |
